2 Year Health Guarantee
We stand behind our puppies with a two-year genetic health guarantee. All puppies sold by North Texas Goldendoodles are in the best possible health to the best of our ability and knowledge. While the puppies are in our care, we feed them high quality food and give them the necessary care to grow into strong and healthy pets for years to come!
When our puppies leave our home to go to their forever homes, they have been dewormed every two weeks, had their first set of shots, dew claws removed and tails docked (Aussiedoodles only), and have been carefully checked by a licensed vet and received a clean bill of health. This does not mean that your puppy is safe from diseases; they must be kept away from other dogs and public areas until 10 days after their 3rd round of vaccines. If the puppy develops an illness due to exposure to other dogs or public areas after they leave our care, it is completely up to the owner to cover any medical expenses.
If any problems are found by your puppy's new vet within 4-5 days after purchase, and the problem is found to be life-threatening or disabling, we will replace the puppy with another similar puppy; either from the same litter (if a comparable puppy is available) or the next available litter of the same breed. The original puppy must be returned to the ranch in the event that an exchange is made.
Additionally, if within the first two years after purchase, your puppy develops a genetic disorder, we will replace the dog with another puppy of your choice from the next available litter at no charge. The genetic disorders covered are hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, genetic eye conditions, von Willebrand disease and genetic heart diseases that are severe enough to need lifetime treatment. Unfortunately, we do not cover any out-of-pocket medical expenses that may have been incurred.
This guarantee does not include viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, hernias, patella luxation, cancer, retained testicles, food allergies, minor heart murmurs (level 1 or 2), or thyroid issues. It also does not include any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals, physical injury or issues whose cause is unknown or may have an environmental link. The breeder does not guarantee against unknown defective genes that does not produce an illness within the guarantee period. This guarantee excludes conditions that arise from obesity or senior ailments, such as blindness, diabetes, etc. Seller does not guarantee against common puppy issues such as but not limited to coccidia, worms, giardia, ear mites, yeast infections/UTIs or kennel cough. Also excludes training difficulties or behavior problems.
Maintenance:
The buyer agrees to maintain this puppy in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, vaccinations, internal and external parasite testing and preventative medication. Veterinary records must be provided to breeder if requesting a replacement.
If any of the above preventative care has not been provided the warranty will be void. Buyer must provide proof of regular preventative care including age appropriate vaccines, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea prevention or no exchange will be given. Under no circumstances is North Texas Doodles liable to the buyer or to any third party for any consequential, incidental or special damages resulting from or related to the puppy. Upon receipt of puppy all veterinary care and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the buyer.
Additionally:
North Texas Doodles makes no guarantee as to the puppy's temperament. We socialize our puppies to the best of our abilities, but we are not able to guarantee how a puppy will respond once it leaves the familiar environment and littermates. It is the buyer's responsibility to properly introduce the puppy into its new environment.
Please feel free to contact Hannah with any questions regarding our health guarantee!
